A bed where dreams come true
Made as if from a single mould. Yomei has enhanced its S100 collection most beautifully with the S100 bed. The bed is made of eight bent parts that are artfully connected and give the sides of the bed an organic look and feel. The special feature of this solid wood designer bed is the lateral bentwood element, made from a single piece almost three metres long. This design is unique in Europe. Just as unique and elaborate is the patented technology behind it: the so-called bentwood technology. This process allows wood to be bent using steam, pressure, and press moulds. Michael Thonet invented this technology and celebrated his breakthrough with his famous coffee house chair around 1850. After a 12-month development phase and innumerable tests and prototypes, we too can now celebrate completion of our product and proudly present the S100 bed to you. An ode to bentwood technology, so to say, including fine details such as the leather edging and head part, the polished bases, and the special benefits of the S100 collection – flexible and easy planning.

Bed headboard:
Solite basic construction made of solid wood and blockboard. Upholstery made of high-quality foams and upholstery materials. Covered with high-quality genuine leather, optionally in the colours Aosta leather or Eldorado leather.
The design of the headboard can be chosen between vertical stitching or a simple central decorative seam. The back of the headboard can optionally be covered with real leather.
Aosta natural leather is a soft, grain-corrected leather with a nubuck-like, stain-resistant surface. The leather is made of European cowhides with an ecological mineral tanning. It has a thickness of 0.9-1.1 mm.
The Eldorado natural leather is an elegant semi-aniline leather with natural grain. Similar to the Aosta natural leather, Eldorado leather is made of European cowhides with an ecologically sound mineral tanning. It has a thickness of 1.0-1.2 mm.
